My left shift key is buggered. Oh...apparently both my shift keys are buggered. Or maybe it's just my hands that are buggered. You ever just want to keep saying the word buggered until [somebody] yells, "shut the fuck up with that buggered bullshit or I'll bugger you with this ergonomic keyboard!"? Sometimes I do, but fortunately the situation never escalates that far.
Now, on to the meat of the post! Mmmmm, steak. Damn I'm hungry.
The Mayor has been getting louder and louder as of late. I know it's the hard drive, I'm just not sure what to do with it. I should probably find out how to rebuild the system on another hard drive, but instead I try to find ways to quiet him up a bit. Yes, The Mayor is male, I don't know why. Lately I've been draping an old towel over him at night so he's not so loud as to disturb my beauty sleep. I've also ordered some Pax mate sound dampener stuff that I'll install inside the server box as soon as it gets here.
On a slightly related buy unrelated note, I've also purchased a new UPS as my previous one seems to have died. Honestly it was cheaper to by this new UPS than it was to replace the battery in my old one. Funny thing that. Along with the UPS came some RAM coolers/heat spreaders for my desktop system, and some power cable extensions with flat plug ends so they fit behind my furniture. I'm (damn shift key!) to give you more information on this stuff later....depends how sober I am I think.
So colour me obvious. I just want to be happy half the time, and blue, only when I have the time.
